Mayura, the flagship factory, commissioned in 1985, is one of the first tea factories in India to have microprocessor-based controlled monitoring systems. As a result, its produce commands a premium at the tea auctions. Mayura has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certification. The tea from this fully automated state-of the-art facility tops the Kochi auction charts in the CTC (Crush, Tear, and Curl) segment in South India.
