Welcome to Parry Agro
Parry Agro - A tradition of tea for over five decades!
One of the leading producers of tea in India, Parry Agro has estates in all the major tea growing areas of the country. Sheikalmudi, Murugali, Paralai and Iyerpadi in the maginificent Anamallais of Tamil Nadu; Attikunna and Carolyn nestling on the lap of Niligiri Wayanad; Kadamane in the cloud veiled mountains of Sakleshpur in Karnataka and Deckiajuli, Martycherra and Sirajuli tucked away on the banks of Brahmaputra in Assam - all the signature teas of India under one roof!
As we plant our tea saplings, we draw our lessons from Nature of continuity, quality and sustainability. We are amongst the few plantation Companies in the world with a dedicated R&D, accredited with a NABL certification, for chemical and microbial testing facilities.
We are proud of our tea. You can taste the pride in each and every cup. Cheers!
A perfect blend of tradition and modernity, like many Indian business houses of yore, Parry Agro too has a history of colonial ownership. It is the successor to the Co-operative Wholesale Society Limted (CWS), UK, the shares of which were held entirely by the Britishers. The shares were transferred to an Indian concern and in 1981; the Murugappa Group joined the Management of the Company. After two progressive divestments in 1987 and 1992, CWS relinquished its entire holdings to the Group. After the second divestment in December 1991, the Company became Parry Agro Industries Limited.
